THREE CARDS to share!!

Hi there hi there!

I've got three cards to share today, but I'm going to do them over 3 posts, so I can add them to the student gallery over at
I was really inspired the way Jennifer made a card using scraps from her desk.

Here are the scraps I started with:

Her scraps were most definitely prettier than mine LOL. The green watercolour pieces were left over from my playing yesterday with the Mister Huey's, so I decided to put the leftovers to good use.

This first card is probably my least favourite, it gave me fits making it, despite the simplicity--but my husband likes it the most, so it's DEFINITELY a masculine card. It's killing me not to add some hearts or glitter or SOMETHING!! VERY simple.

Here's what you do:

Diecut some vellum using the beautiful Simon Says Stamp Hexagon Borders die (cut like BUTTA!), trim out a section of the front of the card, (slightly wider than the hexagon strip), adhere the vellum and all your other strips onto the front of the card.

Stamp sentiment.

Stamp the sentiment again using darker ink. (Brown didn't work well LOL)

Fret over how masculine the card is.

Round the corners... Wish you hadn't.

Figure someone masculine will like it. (and it was true!!)

OK that's it for this one,

The goodies you'll want to buy so you can make your own are below.

See you in a bit for card #2!!

I like that someone else has regrets mid-card, and also stamps twice. :)

I'm a little scared to cut out part of my card front, so I may do this as a layer. We'll see.

Love the instructions! I like it! It's hard to let it be without adding some bling!

It was so much fun to listen to those thoughts in your head as you made this great card. I was well entertained!

WOW, each one of your cards is prettier than the last.
Again, thanks for the inspiration....some of the cobwebs are being swept out of my un-mojo-ed head!
