The first ever Lawnscaping Blog-hop!!!

Hello and welcome to the very first ever Lawnscaping Blog-hop!!!

Hopefully you have arrived here at my blog from the lovely Kim Duran's blog!!  If at any point you lose your way along this bloggety-hop, just pop back to the Lawnscapings Challenge Blog and you can either start again (and come on, why wouldn't you want to check everything out at least twice?!)

So when I received my email from Laurel, saying the theme was the holidays, I immediately started staring at my Lawn Fawn stamps, turning them every which way, waiting for inspiration to strike and it didn't take long!

The little critters just spoke to me and said "tell them what the nativity REALLY looked like!" lol. So I had to listen to them.
I used Enamel Accents on the eyes (makes them look like they have false eyelashes lol!)

The card was quite simple, just took a bit of planning, and LOTS of masking :)
The critters were all coloured with Copic Markers, and a little distress ink was applied around the 'background' and to make the star's "beam of light".  I added some distress stickles to the star to give it a bit of glimmer and shine.

I hope you like it!

Don't forget!! The hop runs from Friday, September 9th - Sunday, September 11th! Make sure to comment on all of the blogs because there are LOTS of prizes to be won! All the details can be found on the Lawnscaping home page (http://lawnscaping.blogspot.com).

Next on to the hop you pop over to the amazing Isha's blog.

Thanks so much for joining me here today and I hope you come back again soon!

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Linda xxx
