Mi Ran cards

Hi friends!

I'm here to share a few cards I've made for the Art By Miran Challenge Blog.

For this one I used my Prismacolour Pencils on Winter Sofia and I stamped a Lil Inkers sentiment, before layering onto patterned paper and coloured card stock.

For this card I water coloured April and added her on top of a Hero Arts stamped pink piece of card stock, and the sentiment is from Hero Arts too.

That's it for me! I hope you like!

I'll be back soon

Sending Smiles with Purple Onion Designs

Hi friends!

I thought I'd pop in and share a card with you quickly.

My whole family have been SIIICK this weekend, so I'll be keeping this short (I can still only sit up for short periods of time and typing a blog post while laying down is impossible!)

This card was created for a kraft-themed submission call, but it didn't make it in to the mag (even though it might be my most favourite card ever.

The stamp of those two adorable bunnies is from Purple Onion Designs, and I used Prismacolour Pencils to colour them in.

I added some soft white to the bottom, to give a snowy ground for them to stand on.

I added the sentiment from Mama Elephant using Hero Arts white embossing powder, diecut the panels with Lil Inkers stitched border rectangles, and used my white signo gel pen for the snow fall :)

Ok that's it for me, I'm feeling woozy again.

Hope you like it!

See you again soon

Thanks a Latte

Hiya!

Today I've got a card using a stamp set is one I'd wanted for such a long time and I so love it!

First I coloured in Hipster Mae with Copics, and added some fun highlights to her socks with a white gel pen, as well as some Wink of Stella over her hat band, and handbag.

I wanted to keep the card a little bit simpler and let the image be the star :)

I'll see you soon!

ABNH Challenge SMALL SCALE--draft

Hi!

It's time for a new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero, and this time we want you to do

Use a smaller space to create your card or project. You can use multiple smaller areas, do a tag, create a masked off area and stamp within that. All you need to do is ensure you use a small area.

Here is my take on the challenge;

I've had this idea in my head for weeks now, and I really love how it came out. I stamped the beautiful Hero Arts Poppy stamp, about 13 times, 12 of them in Charcoal ink, once in Neon Pink Hero Arts Shadow Ink.

After cutting the stamped images down to a smaller square, I then mounted each square onto a black card panel, making sure to leave a little hint of the black around each side, and I offset each line purposely, because I didn't want a grid pattern.

I heat embossed the sentiment onto matching black cardstock, and then added that to the front.

I hope you like it!

Be sure to enter your own creations, because you could win a $25 gift voucher from our sponsors,

I hope to see your creations there!

See you again soon

Frenchy Gwen, Some Odd Girl's February Release!

Hello friends!

It's time for another release at Some Odd Girl and let me tell you, this one might be my favourite yet!

Today we're releasing Frenchy Gwen, and she is tres chic. (see what I did there?!)

Here's my card:

So for this cutey, I coloured her up with Copic Markers, then cut her out, but I left a little teensy thin white border around her, so she'd pop out from the pink background.

I saw a card or invitation on Pinterest ages ago, with this style background (with the two offset panels) and it really stuck in my head, so I gave it a go for this card.  I like how modern and clean it looks, especially against my sweet girly Gwen.

I heat embossed my sentiment and added some pretty enamel dots for the final flourish!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you'll check out the rest of the Design Team's work, over on the Some Odd Girl blog!

Don't forget to take a peek at our Facebook Group, it's full of wonderful crafters who are so supportive and inspiring!

 See you soon!

Frenchy Kody: Some Odd Girl February Release

Hi there!

It's release time and today's young man is quite the charmer :)

Meet Frenchy Kody:

I coloured him up with copics and for a little extra somesing (that's something in a bad French accent lol), I gave him some darker stubble around his cheeks and chin. Tres French, non?! (Ok I'll stop)

I just love his little slip on shoes lol. Adorable.

I used a tag die to create the panels he's standing on, and a Tim Holtz stencil with some embossing paste for the background. I added a few bits of bling using the Some Odd Girl Sorbet Sequins, and then I was good to go!

I hope you'll stop by the Some Odd Girl Blog to see the rest of the Design Team's inspirational projects--they're super cute (or as they say in France, tres magnifique!)

See you tomorrow for the next release!

White on White with pops of colour.

Hiya!

I'm here today to share a card I made using Some Odd Girl's new stamp Wink Mae.

I wanted something really simple and white on white, but with nice pops of bright colour.

First I stamped and coloured the image, then I embossed some nice thick vellum from Stampin Up.
I adhered the image using dimensional adhesive, and added sequins and a little sentiment banner.

Hope you like it!
