Hello friends!
I'm so excited to be here today to help introduce my dear sweet friend Danielle's new STAMP LINE!
When she asked me to be a part of the team that helps bring her stamps to life, I was (and still am) so flattered and honoured! I couldn't think of anything better! THEN I saw the stamps in real life--WOWZA, they. are. gorgeous.
There are 6 sets in total, and every day this week, at 8am EST there will be a post on the Neat and Tangled blog, introducing each one of the new stamp sets. (One set per day)
You'll get to see the set, a video, and several cards. There will also be a giveaway every day with winners announced on Friday.
All 6 sets will be available for purchase at the end of release
week on Friday, August 10th at
8 AM EST.
The stamp set we're spotlighting today is called Fresh Blooms, with gorgeous whimsical floral images, sweet bugs and darling sentiments, its a real pleasure to use.
Here are two cards I made using Fresh Blooms;
The moment I saw the flowers, I thought of poinsettia--and after making them 'into' poinsettia for this card, I'm pretty sure I know what my christmas cards are going to be this year! (I've had this card made and waiting to be shown for WEEKS, I'm so excited to be able to reveal it!)
I used Distress Markers and a waterbrush (on watercolour paper obviously!) and then fussy cut them all out, before adhering them using dimensional adhesive. When they were all dry and set, I added Star dust stickles to them (just lightly). They have such a gorgeous glimmer to them in real life!
The cardstock is from the new delicious Bazzill Card Shoppe range, I used my scoring board to make the diagonal score lines on the bottom half of the card :)
and a more sweet, summery card:
I masked off the strip in the centre of the card, stamped the flower image all over the white neenah cardstock, using Memento Dew Drop inks :) Then I scored the centre panel to give it a nice 'segmented' look, added the cutesy ladybugs and coloured them in!
To finish I added pearls and rounded the bottom corners with my corner chomper.
Here are the goodies I used to make the cards:
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Neat and Tangled Blog, to check out the rest of the inspiration projects for this set, and the other sets throughout the rest of the week!
Linda xoxo
