Birthday celebration week 4!! SIMON SAYS STAMP

Hi there!

Over at ABNH, this week we're teaming up with our extraordinarily generous (and fabulous) sponsors,  Simon Says Stamp!

I got the chance to play with some of the new and amazing Simon Says Stamp exclusive products--talk about exciting! My goodness, these stamps and dies look fabulous online, but in real life?! THEY"RE AMAZING!

Here's my card

This little bear is SO adorable, and I just love him peeking out of the 'portholes' like that. Do you 'get' the card?? The green and blue bear are out of the picture a little coz they're not quite right..little orangey-brown bear is SPOT ON ;)  (thought I'd better explain in case it only works in my warped brain lol)

Ok, now head over to ABNH with me to see the rest of the DT's projects today, and don't forget, the party lasts all week !

See you soon!

Strippin' with Neat and Tangled

Hi!

Anyway, I decided enough was enough, I had to give On the Strip 2 a go. Get past the fact that I couldn't colour it in etc, and use it for what it was. LINES. Today I'm showing you the cards I made once I got past trying to make these stamps into something they weren't :) I'm happy with the result--hope you like them too!

Here are the four cards I made :)

Well there you have it!

I used the different kinds of embossing on almost all of my cards today, to get you in the mood for the current Little Tangles challenge,

which has already started! you've got until April 28th to enter for a chance to win a prize--a Neat and Tangled stamp set of the winners choice!

ABNH Avery Elle Collaboration!

Hiya!

I'm popping in to share a couple of cards I made for the current month-long birthday celebration over at ABNH. This week we're schmoozing with Avery Elle (only one of THE most fabulous stamp companies out there!)

I'm up on the blog yesterday and today, but be sure to check the whole week out and leave a comment over there, as the fabulous Jamie (AE owner) is offering up a $30 gift certificate to one lucky commenter!

OK here are my cards

first of all, bright and cheery using one of my favourite OLD Hero Arts stamps. I had to buy this after I saw Shari Carrol make a letter set using it :)

And something more elegant/sophisticated. I think this would work well as a 50th birthday card, a sympathy card, or lots more. You could definitely change up the mood of the card just by changing the colours you chose!

ok that's it!

Be sure to head over :) Oh! And check out the Avery Elle Blog too, they're playing along and boy is that DT talented!

See you soon!
