Avery Elle

Hi!

A quick post today!

I got to play with some of the amazing stamps from the new and wonderful company Avery Elle recently and I've been on a bit of a creative binge ever since. These stamps are graphic, classy, feminine and FANTASTIC. There are so many possibilities with their sets, I can't wait to get even more of them!

So tomorrow is Easter Sunday, but it's also my mother in law's 70th birthday. We're headed out for a lunch with her to celebrate, and I thought a card would be in order for such a special occasion.

Here it is:

apologies for the lack of light tent on this photo, it got dirty and I'm waiting for the insert to dry after I washed it :)

This card was made entirely using the Fanfare set (one of my faves). So easy when the stamps are this great.

I can't decide whether to keep the ribbon or not...hmmm (the ribbon is Avery Elle too and it's delicious, but I can't decide whether it works on this card!)

Anyhoo, I hope you like it!

Be sure to head over to A Blog Named Hero starting April 1st, we have a HUGE month planned to celebrate our 1st birthday!!

Speak to you soon!

Fresh Daisies :)

Hi again!

Here is the card I made using the diecut "positive" image

instead of leaving the diecut with just the chalk inks, I thought I'd add some Icicle stickles to the petals :)

Hope you like it!

I'm adding this to the Simon Says Stamp challenge too :)

Fresh Daisies Diecut

Hi friends!

I'm back with another card to share with you :)

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog

I thought I'd make a couple of cards for the latest Simon Says Stamp Challenge, the theme of which is

EASTER/SPRING

So here's my card

I used Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks and a Simon Says Stamp Fresh Daisies die.

I love the soft, calm look. The bright colours and these gorgeous flowers definitely say SPRING to me!

I'll be back soon with the other card I made, using the diecut negative :)

See you then!

Card 6!! (last one for tonight) :) Pattern Play Homework

Last one! I promise...till tomorrow anyway :)

Ok this card was the first one I made actually, it just got put at the bottom of my little pile of cards, so it's getting blogged last.

I took inspiration pretty directly from Kristina's card (esp the layout/sketch of it)

so here 'tis:

Lawny Fawny goodness here.  The love you and banner stickers are ADORABLE... the right side is patterned paper that's been put through a border punch from American Crafts (just picked this up a few weeks back and I've been itching to try it out. it's gorgeous in real life)

Nice and simple, a really quick card to put together. Shockingly, NO stamping...I might have to go back and add some to the inside :)

Ok I"m off to sleep, I'm all crafted out *thudsnore*

Talk to y'all soon!

PS if you haven't signed up for the class yet, there's still time. THEY"RE SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!

card FIVE homework for Pattern Play

PHEW we're nearly done!!!

Ok I'll get straight to the card:

Everything from the March card kit EXCEPT the apothecary die (which I thought I'd play with while it was still out) and the white gel pen I used along the "edge".

one more to go then I'm hitting the hay! Its late *yawn*

card *can you believe it* FOUR Pattern Play

hello helo helloooooooooo

Ok I wont ramble: card four

So for this one I layered the papers onto the cardfront, then added the mini envelope from the kit, which I'd stamped with the exclusive stamp (also from the kit) using white ink.
I tied some twine around the envie :)

The little tag inside the envelope is an elongated version of the die from the Apothecary die set (exclusive to Simon Says too) and the matching stamp. There's space at the bottom of the little tag for a handwritten message if you wanted to add it.

love!

two more to go :)
